The Danish studio IO Interactive summed up the results of the year since the launch of the last part of the Hitman game franchise.
The developers estimate that in 12 months, players have completed more than 70 million game tasks. IO Interactive statistics contains some fun facts about the activity of gamers in HITMAN.
For example, 70 killers drowned in one of the ponds during the task, and only 2% of users killed the victim with a coconut. In addition to coconuts, a sniper rifle, branded pistols, various tools, a garrote and even a toilet seat were actively used.
Players have created 250 thousand of their own contracts, from which IO Interactive has selected and promoted a hundred of the best.
According to the GytHyp service, the average online at the moment is about 2 thousand players per hour. After the peak figures in March 2016, for the first six months online did not rise above a thousand players per hour. But since the release of the last season at the end of October last year and to the present moment, user activity has more than doubled, and the average hourly online does not fall below 1400 players.
The sixth game in the Hitman series for the year scored 72% of positive user reviews according to Steam statistics. 600 thousand people own the game on this platform.
Sales on other platforms amounted to 280 thousand copies for Playstation 4 and 110 thousand copies for Xbox One.
