In America, more copies of Grand Theft Auto V have been sold than any other game since 1995. This is reported by the analytical company NPD Group.
According to NPD Group representative Mat Piscatella, GTA V has shown the best sales since the beginning of the company’s observations.
After the release of the game in 2013, a total of 80 million copies of the fifth part of the famous criminal franchise on consoles and PCs were sold in the world.
According to the financial report of the GTA series publisher Take-Two, the proceeds from GTA V and GTA Online largely provided a 26% increase in the company’s revenue for 2016.
