The creator of the Gears of War series, Cliff Bleszinski, believes that all is not lost for his online team shooter LawBreakers. He admitted mistakes and is ready to make efforts to make the project succeed after a failed start.
According to the game designer, one of the factors of LawBreakers’ failure was his own behavior on social networks — Blesinski was too arrogant and did not respond to criticism.
Another blunder was the lack of a team deathmatch mode, in which squads of players simply fight without being distracted by completing missions.
To regain interest in LawBreakers, Blesinski and Boss Key Productions studio announced a series of updates with new maps, modes and characters during the 4th quarter of this year.
Discounts and free game weekends are also promised.
Cliff Blesinski assured that he is ready for a long work marathon and will change the game until everyone who likes shooters loves it.
Recall that the online shooter LawBreakers started at the end of June with an online presence of 7.5 thousand players. In 3 weeks after the launch, the number of gamers in the game at the same time dropped below 500 people.
