Gems of War, a new Infinite Interactive game that once created Puzzle Quest, has been released in New Zealand and Australia.
The novelty, as far as can be judged from the first screenshots and the trailer, is a mix of Puzzle Quest and, sorry, Hearthstone. From the first, the project got the style, role-playing elements and action. From the creation of Blizzard – a collectible component.
As we understood, each card on the field (there cannot be more than four of them on the part of each player) attacks one or more opponent’s cards if the player collects a row of more than three crystals corresponding to the color of the card.
The cards themselves have six characteristics: activation color, impact strength, defense, life, level, and rarity. Moreover, there are also spell cards.
Gems of War has both a single-player campaign and real-time PvP.
Publishes the game 505 Games Mobile, which also brought Terraria to the mobile market.
On our own, we add that after Puzzle Quest, Infinite Interactive had no successful projects, not counting Marvel Puzzle Quest, in the development of which they participated as consultants.
Infinite Interactive is one of the oldest video game development companies. Founded in 1989 by Steve Fawkner. She became famous for such series as Warlords, Warlords Battlecry and Puzzle Quest.
