Kaliningrad indie studio Tortuga Team, famous for the Braveland trilogy, announced the imminent release of a new game — turn-based tactics Spaceland.
The novelty, according to the developers, is inspired by such series as XCOM, Incubation and Laser Squad. However, in conversation with App2Top.ru Anton Mikhailov, a game designer and co-founder of the company, called Fire Emblem another source of inspiration.
From these games Spaceland got a fighting game — as part of the missions, 3-4 characters get to the map, where battles take place in step-by-step mode. As for Braveland, the legacy of this series is the map on which the player travels between missions.
This time, the Tortuga Team is making a project without relying on mobile devices. After many years of development for iOS and Android, the developers decided to focus their efforts on the PC. The game is coming out this year on Steam.
