Over 6.8 million gamers have become participants in the beta testing of the tactical action Ghost Recon: Wildlands from Ubisoft.

The result of Wildlands became the most massive beta test in the history of Ubisoft and overtook last year’s record of The Division game (6.4 million players).

The French developer reported that the participants spent 34.3 million hours in Ghost Recon: Wildlands — on average, each of them played for 5 hours.

Recently, beta tests have become not only a way to identify flaws in the game before its release, but also part of promotional campaigns that provide the project with additional fame shortly before the release.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is a tactical online shooter where players in the face of special forces fighters are fighting drug cartels that have seized power in Bolivia.
