Developers of open source SOOMLA development tools have created Gamegear.io – a single catalog of SDK packages that can be useful in the development of mobile games.

SOOMLA запустила SDK-директорию для разработчиков мобильных игр

Today, there are a huge number of services on the market that offer their services to developers. These are game engines, advertising and social networks, analytics. To search out and compare them with each other, to see how relevant certain solutions are today is a separate, big job.

The guys from SOOMLA decided to simplify it as much as possible by launching a simple service Gamegear.io , which allows you to get acquainted with the services available on the market within a single list and download them immediately. In fact, they made an SDK directory (in which, by the way, you can upload your own, the directory is hosted on Github), grouped by name, supported platforms and, attention, popularity (Indie Rank).

SOOMLA receives data on the popularity of a particular solution by pulling up information from 4000 games that use the SOOMLA framework. In other words, the picture may not be as representative as possible, but it seems to us that several thousand games are a good enough sample to assess the overall situation on the market.

The problem is that, of course, it does not cover all existing solutions, as evidenced by the absence of a large number of SDKs in the Indie Rank catalog (for example, Twitch and App Annie do not have it). By the way, AdMob, Flurry and Goolge Analytics have the first places in popularity among SDKs.

You can get acquainted with the service here.
