A little more than a week remains before the WN Winter online conference. But even now, future participants of the event can use the appointment system and get acquainted with the schedule of performances.

In order to send a request for a virtual meeting to one of the guests of the event, it is enough to purchase a business ticket and log on to the conference platform that is already working.

Recall that there are free tickets on WN Winter. They are available to developers and publishers. However, they only allow you to watch lectures and walk around the virtual exposition. It will be possible to interact with the conference participants only in a limited format (with free tickets, you can receive requests for meetings and write to speakers and sponsors).

As for the event program, it is designed for five days. The reports will run in one stream from Monday, February 8 to Friday, February 12. The time of the event is from 12.00 to 19.30 Moscow time (or from 10.00 to 17.30 Central European time).

Among the most interesting performances we note the following:

  • Trends in casual and hybrid games developed by Western companies” from GameRefinery. The leading analyst of the service, Kalle Haikkinen, will talk about core mechanics and meta, which have recently become widespread in a number of mobile games;
  • Live interview with Tim Willits from Saber Interactive. Tim is an iconic figure in the industry. Previously, he headed id Software and worked as a designer on such games as Doom, Quake, Hexen, Quake II, Quake III Arena, Doom 3 and others;
  • a round table on M&A, where they will discuss why 2020 turned out to be so rich in deals in the gaming industry. It will be moderated by the lead author of VentureBeat Dean Takahashi;
  • The marketing director of the Cocos engine, Luke Stapley, will make a presentation on “How mini-games will become a big trend in 2021“. He plans to tell about this, including by the example of the situation with mini-games in China.
