Due to the threat of coronavirus, the gaming industry is switching to remote work. The current conditions require new solutions. One of them in April will offer
WN Media Group.

The initiative is called WN Hub. This is a platform that will allow participants of the domestic and foreign game dev to communicate with each other in a digital format for a week — from April 22 to April 30.

Six functions of the future service have now been announced:

  • video meetings – users will be able to schedule meetings with any participant of the platform and communicate via video;
  • developer exhibition — the service will have the opportunity to place and view game products of indie developers (you can leave an application for participation in the exhibition here);
  • lectures and round tables — lectures and discussions of experts from leading gaming companies will be laid out and conducted on the WN Hub;
  • interactive expo zone — the platform will have its own interactive map with virtual stands of participants;
  • chat platform participants will also be able to communicate with each other through the internal chat service;
  • The virtual publishing pavilion is a separate online space where developers can pitch their projects directly to publishers.

The April release is essentially a starter. Then, in May-June, after receiving feedback from the community, access to the platform will be open permanently.

The organizers plan that 2000 participants from 1000 companies will use the WN Hub at the start. Among those who have already registered on the platform: Playrix, MyTona, Sega, Square Enix, Larian Studios, Ketchapp, ZeptoLab and many others.

Registration for the platform is open. Access is provided free of charge.
