On October 29, AppsFlyer and Apptractor are holding an educational seminar in Moscow, MAMA Russia, dedicated to mobile attribution. We asked one of the organizers of the event, Leonid Bogolyubov, about the event.

Семинар по мобильной аналитике MAMA пройдет уже в этот четверг

Hi! To begin with, please share the history of AppsFlyer educational seminars!

Леонид

Leonid Bogolyubov, Editor-in-Chief of Apptractor Hi !

Answering this question, I’d rather give the floor to Rana Avrahami from AppsFlyer:

We have already held two analytical seminars in Beijing and Tokyo, and they were very successful. But the MOM we make in Moscow is the first of its kind. Russia is a large and undoubtedly promising market, and our decision to organize the first MOM here is not accidental. In addition, our first customers back in 2011 were Russian companies, and we feel that it’s time to meet in a wider circle; that mobile specialists and company executives who want to figure out what a mobile is and what it is eaten with have accumulated a lot of questions and ideas that it’s time to voice and discuss.”.

In fact, the first thing that attracts attention and immediately, to be honest, a little outraged is the name. There was no thought at least in Russia to rename it?

In AppsFlyer, the event is called MAMA Russia and it seems to me that this is a very cool name. In addition, it fits very precisely into the concept – Mobile Attribution and Marketing Analytics. To be honest, I don’t see anything outrageous, a great creative from our Israeli colleagues. We in the team are very happy with such a fun, bright and cool name and are glad to be a part of it.

What role does AppTractor play in the MAMA organization in Russia?

We help in the preparation of the event, do PR, invite visitors.

This is the second marketing event for you this season. What is the reason for such activity?

Initially, the event was planned in general for the spring of 2015, but, gradually acquiring details, it got to autumn. So in terms of dates, it’s just a coincidence. However, judging by the number of guests at our event and at the event, the demand for marketing and analytics is very high, so we will continue to develop in this direction.

And the last question, what to expect from the team in the near future? More conferences or will you plan to develop the media component of your business?

Sure. At the end of the year, we plan to launch another very interesting service for developers, as well as a separate conference that will not be like all the others – we are working on this now. So it won’t be boring for sure!

More information about the event, which will feature companies such as Google, Mail.Ru Group, Datalead, Mobio and others – you can find out by the link.
