Summer Game Fest — from May to August 24

Geoff Keighley, the organizer of The Game Awards, is preparing a digital alternative to E3. In May (the exact date has not yet been announced), Summer Game Fest will be launched.

The online festival will last four months and will end on August 24. It will be crowned by the show Opening Night Live with Kayleigh as the host.

Participation in the Summer Game Fest has already been confirmed by the largest publishers: Bethesda, Microsoft, CD Projekt Red, EA, Sony, Valve, Warner Bros. Numerous announcements, interviews and demonstrations of games for Steam and Xbox are expected.

Summer of Gaming — early June

IGN portal announced the Summer of Gaming online festival. Publishers 2K, Square Enix, CD Projekt Red, SEGA, Google, Devolver Digital, THQ Nordic and Bandai Namco participate.

The exact date of the event will be announced later.

Guerrilla Collective — June 6-8

Part of Summer of Gaming will be a three-day event from Media Indie ExchangeGuerrilla Collective. News and announcements are expected from developers such as Larian Studios, ZA/UM (authors of Disco Elysium), Coffee Stain, Funcom, Paradox Interactive, Raw Fury (authors of Kingdom), etc.

PC Gaming Show — June 6

The PC Gamer edition did not cancel the PC Gaming Show. Previously, the event was held annually as part of E3.

On Saturday, June 6, a live online broadcast of announcements and interviews will start. The organizer’s partners are Epic Games Store, Perfect World, Guerrilla Collective, etc.

Steam Games Festival — June 9th

About the future festival of game demos App2Top.ru reported in April. From June 9 to 14, free demos of future new products will be presented in the Valve store.

This is the third such festival on Steam. The last, spring, event allowed players to try demo versions of games with the canceled GDC 2020.

EA Play Live 2020 — June 12

The traditional presentation from Electronic Arts — EA Play — this year will be held in a digital format called EA Play Live. The publisher will present its own games, including a sports line.

Play for All — from the beginning to the end of June

GameSpot will devote several weeks in June to the Play for All event. Interviews and announcements of companies such as Bethesda, CD Projekt Red, Deep Silver, Larian Studios, Square Enix, SEGA, 2K, etc. will be broadcast on the main streaming platforms, Facebook and Twitter. New announcements for the Google Stadia streaming service are also expected.

GameSpot promises more than 100 hours of broadcasts in total. The date will also be announced later.

Future Games Show — June

The GamesRadar portal will launch an hour-long broadcast with trailers and interviews. His event was called the Future Games Show.

Microsoft Event

Immediately after the cancellation of E3 in March, Microsoft and Ubisoft announced their own online events. Previously, a considerable part of E3 was devoted to the presentations of both companies.

Little is known about the upcoming Microsoft event. Microsoft only mentioned that it will show content for Xbox. We can talk about a line of games for the latest generation Xbox Series X console.

Ubisoft Forward — July 12

But on Tuesday, May 12, Ubisoft announced its own digital demonstration of its games. It will be held on July 12. The company can show or mention Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, Beyond Good & Evil 2 and other AAA projects.
