The creator of the Wasteland series has announced the opening of a digital online store Robot Cache with calculations in both standard currencies and its own cryptocurrency called Iron.
Unlike Steam and GOG with their 30% commission on revenue from the sale of games, Robot Cache promises to give publishers 95% of revenue.
Developers will also receive 70% of the revenue from the resale of already purchased games, and 25% of the value of the sold game will return to its previous owner in Iron tokens.
Users will be able to receive Iron not only for reselling games, but also to mine it using mining.
Iron works according to the ERC-20 standard of the Ethereum blockchain. The cryptocurrency ICO will be held from January 17 to February 14.
The launch of Robot Cache is scheduled for the 2nd quarter of this year. At the same time, the generation of Iron tokens starts.
