MRGV is increasingly looking for game projects for investment. The division announced plans to hold an open day once a month for gaming teams that are interested in funding from outside Mail.Ru Group.

This was stated on his Facebook page by the managing director of MRGV Ilya Karpinsky. Such a step on the part of the company, according to him, is due to the fact that not everyone in the Russian-speaking segment of the gaming industry is well acquainted with his fund.

As part of the open doors, MRGV plans to consider applications for investment from guests. According to Karpinsky, each team that comes will have 30 minutes to tell about their game or service. You will have to come “with a presentation and a business model.”

Also, the investment division of MY.GAMES invites other investors to cooperate. Karpinsky noted that one of his tasks is also to create a partner network between the founders of gaming companies and investors.

Recall that MRGV is the structure of MY.GAMES. The latter is a new brand Mail.Ru Group, under which the Russian IT giant merged its entire gaming business in May.

MRGV has been actively investing in Russian teams for several years. After that, they often become part of My.Games. For example, this happened with BIT.GAMES, Panzerdog and Swag Masha.

It is not reported which projects MRGV is particularly interested in at the moment. However, as previously reported, MY.GAMES itself was very interested in AAA shooters for consoles until recently.

The announcement of the meetings, the first of which is already scheduled for November 20, took place almost immediately after the announcement of another investment initiative. Yesterday afternoon it became known about the launch of the GameGroove Capital fund in Kiev to support developers from the CIS.
