Larian Studios is currently developing a role-playing blockbuster Baldur’s Gate 3. In its office in St. Petersburg, the company is looking for an experienced artist who will work on the image of the Coast of Swords in a new game.

Responsibilities:

  • creating models and assets in Maya and 3ds Max;
  • modeling of highly polygonal three-dimensional models in ZBrush;
  • baking high-poly models to low-poly models;
  • optimization of own assets for modern games and engines;
  • creating PBR textures using Substance Designer and Painter;
  • creating modular titles for buildings;
  • working closely with the concept and design team;
  • the arrangement of objects and light on the levels.

Requirements:

  • at least 3 years of experience in the gaming industry;
  • good artistic taste;
  • a good understanding of 3D and how to optimize models for games;
  • experience in working with game engines similar to Unity and Unreal Engine (we have our own engine);
  • the ability to arrange objects and light in three-dimensional spaces;
  • English is not lower than upper-intermediate (we are an international studio with offices around the world);

Advertising Monetization Manager G5 Entertainment

The Swedish company is known for its casual projects Hidden City, Jewels of Rome and Mahjong Journey. Now she is looking for a UA specialist in her Kharkiv office.

Responsibilities:

  • manage advertising campaigns and propose your own strategies for future optimization of processes;
  • identify and advocate for initiatives that will help increase advertising revenue generated through partner advertising networks;
  • segment the audience to optimize advertising targeting;
  • track the results of advertising campaigns to optimize assets and future experiments;
  • identify new opportunities for user engagement through advertising;
  • communicate with existing partners (advertising networks) and look for new ones;
  • work closely with other G5 divisions to improve the financial results of advertising monetization.

Requirements:

  • passion for mobile games, apps and the gaming industry;
  • practical knowledge of advertising monetization, advertising management and optimization of mediation solutions;
  • experience in reading and interpreting technical documentation on advertising networks (SDK and API documents);
  • understanding how advertising networks work, the ability to read and interpret the data received to communicate with developers;
  • fluent English (at least upper-intermediate level, Advanced level will be a big plus);
  • excellent communication skills (both in terms of personal communication and correspondence);
  • good organizational skills, goal orientation and the ability to make reports are critically important;
  • ability to plan, develop and manage working relationships and sales (B2B/B2C);

SWAG MASHA is engaged in mobile visual novels. Her main project is Love Sick: Interactive Stories. The company is young, looking for employees who will fit well into its still small team.

Responsibilities:

  • invent mobile free-play games with mechanics: interactive stories, dating simulators, dress up, puzzle;
  • think through the game from concept to detailed UX;
  • count the balance of the game;
  • identify monetization funnels in the game cycle;
  • create documentation for artists, interface designers, programmers;
  • make decisions to improve the project based on data analytics;
  • work in a team with interface designers, artists, writers, programmers, analysts, producers.

Requirements:

  • have released projects in which you took an active part as a game designer (came up with mechanics/features, compiled documentation, counted the balance);
  • have experience working on a game with a marketing budget of $100 thousand per month;
  • it’s good to understand the monetization of free-to-play games (you pay in games and know why);
  • have experience in making successful decisions based on data analytics;
  • ability to calculate the balance of the game;
  • love of games with deep drama (dress up, puzzles and dating simulators);
  • love of mathematics and psychology;
  • huge experience in mobile games, well-read (you should be well acquainted with modern prose and drama), watching (you should understand modern popular TV series and movies).
