The Canadian office of Square Enix Mobile is engaged in the creation of new original games. The team needs a specialist who will play a key role in the formation of the brand and determine its future development.

Responsibilities:

  • development and execution of plans for the global promotion of the game (including (1) identification of the target audience, positioning, unique features of the project and key slogans; (2) identification of the brand, including its name, style, guidelines and advertising assets; (3) supervising all works related to the creation of promotional materials by third-party artists and external creative agencies; (4) assistance in developing PR strategies, including participation in events; (5) working with media agencies, optimizing media plans;
  • preparation of marketing documents (brand development plans, post-mortems) and communication with shareholders;
  • building a constant dialogue with the development team so that the design of the game corresponds to the creative vision of the brand, as well as marketing and business objectives;
  • brand promotion both within the company and when communicating with key business partners;
  • participation in events;
  • conducting market research, benchmarks and audience surveys (one of the goals is to check the effectiveness of promotional materials);
  • interaction with other Square Enix brand teams (to share experiences and find potential synergies between products).

Requirements:

  • at least 5 years of experience in strategic or brand marketing (user entertainment segment);

Responsibilities:

  • managing a department consisting of 3 account managers;
  • control over how customers are served, search for new growth points, adding new promotion channels;
  • managing the advertising budgets of the main partners (up to $500 thousand per month);
  • calculation of monthly and quarterly financial indicators (expenses, revenue, profit);
  • interaction with sales managers and media buyers of the company;
