WN Media Group has announced the launch of a service to search for game projects. It’s called WN Game Finder. The service is designed, on the one hand, to facilitate the work of publishers and investors to filter incoming requests, on the other, to simplify the search for finance for projects.
WN Media Group itself positions the service primarily as “a solution for finding business partners with a monthly updated catalog of selected games.” It is the latter that is the core of the new solution.
If we are talking about a publisher and an investor, then the scenario of working with the service looks like this:
- when buying a subscription, two game catalogs are opened to the client (both are curated, that is, there are no garbage projects in them, but in one of them the most promising, according to WN Game Finder, games are highlighted);
- the client is looking for projects that are interesting to him (he can either simply sort through all the games from the database, or filter them by genre, engine, platform, stage of development or type of monetization);
- if the client finds a project that interests him, he can immediately contact its developer (either via the internal chat of the service, or by the contacts that the developer specified in his profile).
From the developer’s point of view, working with the service is structured differently:
- the first thing he does is submit the game to the curators of the service for consideration, he cannot place it in the catalog on his own;
- if the game is accepted (curators filter weak games, which include those that, for example, are completely built on third-party assets), the developer gets the opportunity to design the game page for the catalog;
- the developer will not be able to write to publishers or other developers by placing his game on the platform.
To date, there are more than 200 games in WN Game Finder. It is stated that up to 100 new titles will be added to the library every month. To submit your game, in turn, you can follow this link.
WN Game Finder is built on the basis of the WN Hub platform, within which WN Media Group regularly conducts digital versions of its events. It is also a meeting system for offline events and has a number of additional services aimed at representatives of the gaming industry.
