Disney is abandoning the development of traditional console projects in favor of mobile and social games. 

Yesterday on Disney.com and on the Disney YouTube channel, the premiere of the animated web series Swampy’s Underground Adventures took place, the main star of which is a cute crocodile-clean Swampy, the hero of the most popular mobile game Where Is My Water (“Crocodile Swampy”).

The day before yesterday, the main Disney puzzle game Where’s My Water? – exactly one year has passed. In honor of this event, the company presented an infographic on the project, and also said that the number of installations of the game exceeded the 100 million mark.

Catapult King, a new game from Chillingo, topped the American top paid iPad apps on the third day after its release, displacing such old-timers as Angry Birds Space HD and Where’s My Water?
