Crytek introduced royalties for CryEngine users

The revenue from using the CryEngine engine will have to be shared. Crytek is preparing to introduce royalties in the amount of 5% of revenue from games created on CryEngine. The new rule will take effect in the new version of CryEngine 5.5, which is already available for download.

Colopl’s profit decreased due to payments in favor of Disney

Japanese mobile publisher Colopl reported a drop in net profit in the first fiscal quarter of 2018 (lasted from October to December 2017). The main reason for the decline was the payment of royalties to Disney Corporation after the release of the puzzle Disney Tsum Tsum Land.
