A week ago, the young Korean studio Lizard Smoothie, together with publisher Neowiz, released their debut game on Steam — a mix of MOBA and roguelike called Shape of Dreams. Seven days were enough for the title to sell 300,000 copies.

The South Korean publisher Neowiz and its subsidiary studio Round8 Studio have proudly announced that the souls-like adventure game Lies of P, focusing on the adventures of Pinocchio, has sold 3 million copies since its launch in September 2023. These figures refer specifically to sales, though the game’s overall audience is significantly larger—one year ago, it was 7 million people.

This figure was announced by the South Korean studio Neowiz. The audience of the gloomy soulslike about the adventures of Pinocchio overcame the milestone of 7 million people six months after the release of the game: Lies of P was released on September 18, 2023.

South Korean publisher Neowiz acquired 21.26% of BLANK Studio. Game Studios, which was opened this spring by several former leading developers from CD PROJEKT RED. The purchase cost the company $17 million.
