The purchase of the Chinese holding Leyou Technologies for $1.3 billion was one of Tencent’s largest investments last year. He has IP assets such as Warframe and Gears Tactics. The deal between Chinese gaming giant Tencent and Hong Kong-based Leyou Technologies has officially taken place. The purchase amount is HK$11.6 million ($1.498 billion). At the same time, the value of the Warframe owners’ shares is slightly lower – HK$10.24 million ($1.322 billion).

The Chinese colossus of Tencent is on the way to a new takeover. On July 10, exclusive negotiations between Tencent and Hong Kong-based Leyou Technologies began. The market value of the latter previously reached $1.4 billion.

A new buyer is eyeing Leyou Technologies. China’s Zhejiang Century Huatong Group is fighting for an asset with iDreamSky.

China’s Leyou Technologies reported for 2019. The most interesting thing in the report is the Warframe indicators. During the year, the popular game lost 12.2% of revenue, but attracted 9.3 million players.

The Chinese publisher iDreamSky has conceived a major deal. The partner of the Russian MY.GAMES agrees to purchase the group of companies Leyou Technologies Holdings Ltd. for $1.4 billion.
