There are no negotiations on a pre-trial agreement with Rambler, Twitch said.

The representative of the Twitch streaming service, Julianna Tabastaeva, denied part of the statement by Mikhail Gershkovich, head of sports projects at Rambler. He claims that the companies are trying to conclude a peace agreement on a lawsuit against Twitch for $2.9 billion.

“Negotiations are underway, but we are not talking about a settlement agreement,” Tabastayeva told the Kommersant newspaper.

At the same time, the service confirmed the transfer to Rambler of tools to combat pirated broadcasts. This was also stated by Gershkovich.

More information about the claim can be found here. Recall that the Rambler Group demands to recover an astronomical sum from Twitch for broadcasting English Premier League matches on the site.
