The government is discussing a new measure to support the IT sector. Now, scheduled inspections can be completely canceled for domestic industry companies. It is assumed that this will create more comfortable conditions for the IT business.We are talking about inspections of Rospotrebnadzor, the Social Insurance Fund, fire supervision, labor inspection and other organizations.

The initiative discussed in the government may be included in the second package of support for the IT industry. “This measure should create more comfortable conditions for doing business in the IT sector with the introduction of new preferential tax rates,” the press service of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko reports.
According to the source of Vedomosti, if the measure is approved by the government, the corresponding federal law may be developed by the autumn of 2021. The responsible departments will be the Federal Tax Service, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Finance.
It is not yet known how long a possible ban on inspections against Russian IT companies will be in effect.
The first package of support for the industry included various tax benefits. Among them are the zeroing of the VAT rate, the reduction of social contributions for IT companies from 14% to 7.6% and income tax from 20% to 3%.
