In the first five months of 2019, the revenues of developers of HTML5 games for the Odnoklassniki social network amounted to 200 million (about $ 3 million). This is twice as much as in the same period a year earlier.
Recall that for the whole of last year, Odnoklassniki paid 300 million rubles to HTML5 game developers. For comparison, payments to all developers of games for the social network in 2018 amounted to 3.2 billion rubles.
As part of the announcement, the company also shared other figures on the platform:
- the audience of all Odnoklassniki games (both mobile and desktop) for the first five months of 2019 increased by 18% compared to the same period of 2019;
- the number of users who launched the game at least once a month has reached 19 million;
- 46% of players use only a mobile device to play in Odnoklassniki, 43% play from a desktop, 11% play both from a desktop and from smartphones/tablets;
- 66% of players are women;female players predominate (46% of the total female playing audience)
- those whose age ranges from 26 to 45 years;
- on average, users playing Odnoklassniki spend an hour a day playing games, and they spend 22 hours a month playing games;
- most often, games are launched on Wednesdays, and they prefer to make purchases on Fridays;
- the most viral genre (the one in which the number of launches is growing primarily due to invitations from friends and reposts) on the platform is puzzles, quizzes and “hidden object” quests.
