The mini-console NES Classic Edition in April of this year was sold in America more successfully than the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, according to the company NPD Group.

The first place in the number of consoles sold in the United States also belongs to Nintendo thanks to the Nintendo Switch, which topped the April top sales. The NES Classic Edition was in second place in the ranking.

The NES Classic Edition is a miniature version of the 1985 Nintendo Entertainment System 8-bit console. Unlike the legendary progenitor, the NES Classic Edition does not play games from cartridges. The console has a library of 30 classic games preinstalled: Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, Super Contra and others.

The console costs $60. Due to high demand and limited release (Nintendo discontinued production in April), the NES Classic Edition quickly became scarce. On the Ebay site, resellers sell it 2-3 times more expensive than the nominal price.
