The Russian social network Odnoklassniki has paid about 4 billion rubles to software developers. 90% of this amount was accounted for by the creators of gaming products.
This was reported today by the newspaper Vedomosti with reference to the general director of Odnoklassniki Anton Fedchin. According to him, payments have increased by a third compared to the same a year ago.
Considering that the social network takes 50% of sales, we can conclude that the games earned about 7.2 billion rubles (4 * 2-10%) in total.
For the whole of 2014, according to Fedchin, developers have released more than 500 new games. The most popular game was the title “Pirate Treasures” released in 2013 by OrangeApps. The total number of users of the game is currently more than 30 million, and the DAU is about 4 million.
Just last year Mail.ru The Group earned 35.8 billion. The company earned 11.9 billion from user payments, of which 4 billion, as we have already figured out, fell on Odnoklassniki.
