The American audience of the Galaxy Apps Store has grown to 24 million monthly active users (MAU).
Over the past two years, this figure has increased 4 times — in 2015, the MAU of the Samsung app store was 6 million people.
The base of active users is steadily growing thanks to sales of Samsung mobile devices, each of which has a Korean company’s app store pre-installed.
The appearance of new devices gives impetus to an increase in the audience of the app store.
Although the Samsung Galaxy Apps Store library is inferior to the App Store and Google Play in terms of the number of available programs, a smaller volume makes it possible to fill the store with the highest quality applications.
Among the leaders in downloads to the Samsung Galaxy Apps Store are products from developers such as Supercell, JamCity, Diandian Interactive, DoubleDown, Zynga, Game Insight, Playtika, Goodgame Studios, Kamagames and Halfbrick.
In the future, Samsung wants to double the MAU to 50 million monthly active users.
