Nintendo will officially release classic hits from the Nintendo Wii in China on the Nvidia Shield gaming tablet: New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess and others.
Rumors about such plans have been circulating since the beginning of this year. The information has now been confirmed by Daniel Ahmad, a gaming analyst at Niko Partners, on Twitter.
According to Ahmad, Nintendo games for Nvidia Shield will be sold for 68 yuan (about $10).
The release of Nintendo games in China became possible thanks to a three-way cooperation between a Japanese developer, Nvidia and a local video company iQiyi.
Most likely, outside of the Celestial Empire, the appearance of Nintendo games on Nvidia Shield is not worth waiting for.
