Google is adding two new metrics to the analytics service for Player Analytics games. A message about this appeared in the official blog of developers on Android OS.

The first metric is called Player Time Series Explorer. It records what actions the player performed before making a key decision in the game. For example, with the help of this tool, the developer will be able to determine what exactly the user did before he bought another consumable, or what made him purchase armor of a higher class.

Another metric – Events Viewer – helps to track the performance of in-game events.

For example, a competition is held in the game. Do players win or lose more often? Developers will be able to see event data and react quickly to the behavior of players. And if the players lose too often, adjust the difficulty of the tasks.

Both metrics, according to Google representatives, are aimed at improving the performance of games – including increasing profitability.
