An update has appeared in the Audience Builder section. Now you can create groups of users who will see ads specially designed for them. It will be hidden from other groups at the same time. This function is still in beta, detailed information can be obtained here.
AdMob Reservations is another new service. His target audience are companies that sell large volumes of mobile advertising. With the help of the service, they will be able to communicate directly with advertisers – receive orders from them, and then manage advertising campaigns. The service is also still at the beta test stage.
The AdMob mediation group has increased: there are now 40 companies in it. It was joined by the Chinese corporation Tencent.
Native advertising (Native Ad Express) – allows developers to place commercial ads in their projects, which can be modified so that they correspond to the overall design of the game.
And finally, AdMob is now integrated with the Android Studio development environment. This means that developers will be able to plan the type, frequency of appearance, placement of mobile advertising, etc. directly in the process of creating an application.
Recall that Google acquired the AdMob advertising network in 2009. Now its coverage, according to the company itself, is about 650 thousand applications.
