The developer of social casinos FlowPlay will transfer its flagship title Vegas World to the cross-platform technology Haxe from the Adobe Flash platform in the next 2 years.

To fully migrate Vegas World, the company will have to transfer 1.4 million lines of code from Flash to Haxe. FlowPlay Social Casino has become the largest project that has ever been transferred to Haxe to date.

Work on the launch of Vegas World on the new platform should be completed by the end of 2020.

FlowPlay chose Haxe for its open source code and versatility, ensuring that applications work on both desktops and mobile devices.

The developer assumes that the experience of porting a large project to Flash to Haxe will help other companies save their Flash games after the Adobe platform finally becomes a thing of the past.
