Part of the changes in Apple’s guidelines concerns the process of submitting applications to the App Store. Now developers have more opportunities to appeal against the rejection of their applications. In particular, you can directly indicate why the company’s decision could be biased.Apple spoke in detail about the changes after the start of the WWDC conference, at which, among other things, the announcement of iOS 15 took place.
“If you file an appeal against the rejection of an application, you will now be able to specify exactly why, in your opinion, it was rejected unfairly — including due to political or other reasons,” says a new post for developers.
To do this, Apple has changed the App Review contact form. Through it, it will be possible not only to point out the unfairness of the refusal, but also to report other applications that violate the company’s guidelines.
Other changes concern both upcoming innovations in iOS 15, as well as privacy and security issues. Also, Apple will now fight mislid in advertising and ban developer accounts for their use.
