We continue to publish the results of the salary survey we conducted from April to May 2023, chapter by chapter. This publication focuses on the income levels of Russian-speaking gaming HR specialists.

$2,153 is the average salary of an HR specialist in the Russian-speaking gaming industry. The median salary is $1,700.
Similar to QA specialists, the largest salary group for HR specialists earns between $1,500 and $2,000 (27.6%).
Nearly half of the Russian-speaking HR specialists in gaming companies earn more than $2,000. The portion earning less than $1,000 is under 14%.
Currently, Russian-speaking gaming HR specialists are mainly distributed among three regions: Russia, Serbia, and Georgia. Russia accounts for almost 60% of the respondents. However, due to the limited sample size (in this case, we had 29 questionnaires), we cannot be 100% certain that the sample is representative.
Recruiters earn the least. Their average rate in gaming companies is around $1,700. Meanwhile, HRBPs can expect up to $4,000. We covered only four specializations, as there was not enough data for others (at least three questionnaires).
Almost 40% of the HR specialists we surveyed identify as being at the Middle level. Their average salary is $1,500 per month.
Methodology
The study is the result of the third salary survey of Russian-speaking gaming industry representatives. The survey was conducted by WN Media Group from April to May 2023. It was conducted through voluntary polling (participants filled out a freely distributed questionnaire with questions).
The survey collected 1,004 completed questionnaires. Of these, 29 were from HR specialists.
