Yandex has a production center called "Plus Studio". Yesterday, on September 19th, this center announced that video games have become another strategic direction for them.
DISTORTION
The first gaming companies they partnered with are:
- Game Art Pioneers, which is developing a story-driven ARPG with strategy elements called DISTORTION;
- Achronix, which is working on an RPG based on Nick Perumov's book "Diamond Sword, Wooden Sword".
"Plus Studio" will assist both developers in producing the games and will also handle their series adaptations. In the case of DISTORTION, "Plus Studio" will also work on a book and a comic.
The center was founded in 2018. It specializes in creating series, music, and other content for the company's media services.
