Ubisoft is preparing to dissolve a London studio dealing with mobile games. Now it employs 54 people.

Ubisoft London, formerly known as Future Games of London, joined Ubisoft in 2013. She worked on the Hungry Shark series of games. In recent years, Ubisoft Barcelona has also participated in the development of these games, which will now be responsible for the further development of Hungry Shark.

Recall that at the end of 2022, Hungry Shark became Ubisoft’s most downloaded mobile franchise, collecting more than a billion downloads.

In a media comment, Ubisoft representatives explained that the closure of the studio in London would reduce costs and increase the efficiency of the company.
