The UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has approved a deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard. The agency finally came to the conclusion that the takeover will not harm competition in the cloud gaming market.

The CMA allowed the deal on the second attempt: in April, the agency banned it, but in September changed its position after Microsoft signed an agreement with Ubisoft to transfer the rights to distribute Activision Blizzard games in cloud services.

It is expected that the closing of the transaction will be announced by the end of the day.
