Last week, Steam's summer sale kicked off, significantly affecting the sales chart. It helped many long-released games return to the list of top-grossing products for the week from June 25 to July 2.

Baldur’s Gate 3

Thanks to the biggest discount in its history—20% off—Baldur’s Gate 3 returned to the top 10. Larian Studios' game climbed the chart from 22nd place to sixth. Similarly, Cyberpunk 2077 improved its position, moving from 65th to ninth.

In the top 100, long-absent games returned, such as Red Dead Redemption 2 (12th place), The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (14th place), Hogwarts Legacy (20th place), Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (21st place), Horizon Forbidden West (25th place), and Total War: WARHAMMER III (37th place).

Forza Horizon 4 also re-entered the chart. The game managed to secure fourth place thanks to news of its impending sales discontinuation and an 80% discount.

The top-grossing game of the week remained Elden Ring. However, the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, which held the second spot last time, has now dropped to fifth.
