The updated Silent Hill 2 by Bloober Team has reached its release: owners of the deluxe edition started playing on October 6, and today, October 8, buyers of the standard edition gained access to the remake. At least in terms of Steam sales, the game had a good start.
Silent Hill 2 Remake
For the week of October 1 to 8, the Silent Hill 2 remake ranked sixth in the Steam sales chart. If we exclude free games from the chart, the remake jumps to third place, only trailing in weekly revenue on Valve's platform behind DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO and EA Sports FC 25.
Counter-Strike 2 became the top bestseller of the week in the overall chart for the first time since August.
Diablo IV returned to the top 10. Thanks to the release of the Vessel of Hatred expansion, it managed to secure the ninth spot in the chart.
Positions in the chart were noticeably improved by Rust (rising from 50th to 16th) and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader (rising from 58th to 19th), assisted by discounts. Additionally, after a long absence from the chart, Hearts of Iron IV made it to the 20th spot.
The Until Dawn remake debuted only at 42nd place.
