The next game in the Mass Effect series has acquired a senior narrative director. He became an experienced screenwriter Mary DeMarle, who previously worked for Eidos Montreal and Ubisoft.

This information was confirmed by Michael Gamble, game director of the upcoming Mass Effect.

The game itself is still at an early stage of development, and most of the BioWare staff are currently busy with Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.

At Eidos Montreal, DeMarl worked on games such as Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. She also wrote scripts for the Homeworld 2 strategy and several parts of Myst.
