A representative from one of the digital stores announced this.

First, they came for the adult games

But first, a little background in case you missed it.

A couple of weeks ago, game stores were forced to remove a number of adult games from their shelves. The reason is that under the pressure of the Australian organization Collective Shout, payment systems Visa and MasterCard began prohibiting banks from processing payments for certain NSFW games worldwide (we wrote about this in detail here).

This situation primarily affected Steam, GOG, and itch.io. The total number of removed projects is unknown, but it was reported that the platform owned by Valve removed about 80 titles of controversial content just on the first day of the sweep.

According to a representative from the digital store ZOOM Platform, one of their payment processing operators also contacted them, expressing concern over their content from an "industry colleague."

More worryingly, an employee of the gaming digital store noted in correspondence with a journalist from GamingOnLinux that they expect the situation to worsen—the delisting of games will continue, and Grand Theft Auto, Duke Nukem, and Saints Row are potentially at risk.
