The upcoming Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has a good chance of becoming a long-awaited hit for Ubisoft, according to analysts from Alinea Analytics. In their assessment, the game has already performed excellently even before its release.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced

As calculated by Alinea Analytics, as of today, more than 300 thousand people have pre-ordered the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake on Steam alone. This secured a gross revenue of $14 million for the game. Considering the console version, the figures should be even higher, although analysts have not specified them.

It is assumed that Skull and Bones — another pirate-themed game by Ubisoft — has never achieved such results on Steam throughout its existence.

Moreover, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has surpassed Assassin’s Creed Shadows by a factor of 5.39 in terms of pre-orders on Steam. It is possible that it will eventually overtake its predecessor in sales after release, but analysts refrained from making a specific forecast.

Additionally, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has already received positive reviews from the gaming press. At the time of writing, its Metacritic rating ranges from 81-84 out of 100, depending on the platform. By comparison, the original Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag scored between 83-88.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will be released tomorrow, July 9, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
