Something is wrong with creating a new version of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. After criticism of the announcement from the players, several postponements of the release and months of silence, the game changes the team.

Ubisoft announced that it is transferring the development of the game from India to Canada. Previously, the remake was handled by studios based in Mumbai and Pune. Now the Montreal office is responsible for it.

The reasons for the team change are not reported. Remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was supposed to be the first major project for which the Indian side would be responsible. It didn’t work out.
