The monthly number of ad impressions has also grown. It doubled.
This was reported by representatives of the Yandex Advertising Network (YAN). They attribute the growth in the number of mobile advertising partners and impressions to active investments in promotion by app publishers:
- In the first quarter of 2026, investments in promotion through Yandex Direct increased by 20% (YoY);
- For comparison, throughout 2025, they grew by 36% (if considering only foreign advertisers, they spent 2.4 times more on advertising than in 2024).
Yandex Advertising Network representatives state that growth is also driven by the continuous development of technological infrastructure.
This development is ongoing. A couple of days ago, the company released Yandex Mobile Ads SDK 8, a new version of the tool for monetizing mobile apps.
It will primarily impact the size of the distributive. This means a greater chance of an increase in the conversion rate for installs:
- The SDK weight for Android will decrease by 30%;
- The SDK weight for iOS will decrease by 15%.
For reference: the Yandex advertising SDK for mobile developers, as reported by 42matters (Similarweb), is ranked among the top 20 worldwide in popularity (it is in 15th place). Considering that in the last year and a half, the number of mobile apps in which it was implemented grew threefold, its position in the top by the end of 2026 could improve.
