The studio Unfrozen announced that Paul Romero, the longtime composer of the series, will write the music for Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era.
Romero has contributed to all the previous parts of Heroes of Might & Magic, as well as to several titles from the original Might & Magic series. He has been working on soundtracks for the franchise since 1995, the year the very first Heroes of Might & Magic was released.
Alongside Romero, another renowned composer, Cris Velasco, will be working on the music for Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era. Within the series, he is known for his soundtrack for Heroes of Might & Magic VI. Velasco has also composed music for Lords of the Fallen, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Bloodborne, Mass Effect 2 and 3, Overwatch, the original God of War trilogy, and many other games.
Unfrozen revealed that Heroes Orchestra will also contribute to Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era. This is a group of professional musicians who regularly perform concerts featuring compositions from various games in the series. They will be responsible for orchestrating the music created by Romero and Velasco.
Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era is set to be released on PC in early access in the second quarter of 2025.
