John Smedley will no longer head Amazon Game Studios San Diego. He decided to leave the company and try his hand at something new.
Instead of Smedley, Andy Sites, the main producer in the publishing direction of Amazon Games, will become the head of the studio.
Smedley joined Amazon Games in 2017. Over the course of six years, he was engaged in several games, but none of them ever came out. Before Amazon, Smedley worked for 13 years in Sony‘s gaming division, where he worked on EverQuest and Star Wars Galaxies.
