The growth of the German gaming market has slowed down. The Game Association reported that its revenue for the first half of the year increased by only 2%. For comparison: last year the growth was 22%.
How the expenses of German gamers were distributed:
microtransactions in games – —2 billion;
consoles, computers and other hardware – —1.5 billion;
the games themselves – —477 million;
online gaming services – —416 million;
subscriptions to individual titles — €85 million.
