Yesterday, Half-Life fans united in a flash mob to break the record for peak online and at the same time show that the community of the title is still active. They agreed to simultaneously launch the “vanilla” version of the first Half-Life and play for at least half an hour.

Judging by the SteamDB service, they succeeded. On the evening of August 14, the maximum number of simultaneous users in the game reached 12,280 people. This is twice the previous record set in 2020.

Now online Half-Life has dropped to 551 people.
