It's likely that in the evening, when the Western audience joins, or over the weekend, the numbers will grow. But even now, Mecha BREAK ranks in the top 20 most popular new releases of 2025 on Steam, surpassing games like Rematch, inZOI, and Sid Meier’s Civilization VII in online numbers.
However, during the beta tests, the online count for the Steam version of Mecha BREAK reached much higher numbers. In February, the shooter had 317,522 simultaneous players.
Update: By evening, the peak online for Mecha BREAK on Steam increased to 132,816 players.
It should be noted that many people were anticipating the release of Mecha BREAK. According to data from Alinea Analytics, by the end of June, the game had 2.8 million wishlists.
The first players were not very satisfied with Mecha BREAK. Currently, it has only 59% positive reviews on Steam. The majority of reviews are written in Chinese (69.2%) and English (29%).
