The Brazilian studio Devcats, known for the Full of Cats franchise, has launched a publishing division. It will assist small teams in bringing cat-themed projects to the market.

“Our mission is to aid in the adaptation and rescue of cats through fun, cozy, and beneficial games that we create and support,” the announcement states.

It is therefore quite logical that the company's first publishing project is the noir quest Feline Forensics and the Meowseum Mystery, featuring a cat detective as the main character.

This initiative involves not only informational but also commercial support for animals. A portion of the sales proceeds will be directed to help cats.

Concerning support for developers, Devcats plans to share its expertise in marketing, community building, and development.

The success of Devcats as a company is questionable. The total revenue from its 11 projects on Steam is approximately $1.4 million.
