The Actors Guild of the USA SAG-AFTRA supported the proposal to hold a strike against gaming companies. It was approved by 98.32% of the Guild members who participated in the voting.

A total of 34,687 people cast their votes — 27.47% of the Guild members with the right to vote.

This does not mean that the Guild will immediately go on strike. First, she will negotiate with the gaming companies cooperating with the Guild: the results of the vote will become a lever of pressure on them. The talks are scheduled for September 26-28.

Among the companies that have signed an agreement with the Guild are Activision, Electronic Arts, Take-Two, Epic Games and Insomniac Games.

Recall that the actors demand an 11% salary increase, limit the use of artificial intelligence and increase the level of security on the set.
