On May 3, new rules for the placement of trailers began to take effect on Steam. Now developers can add a maximum of two videos before screenshots, all the others will be displayed at the end of the gallery.

Valve explained that previously, due to the abundance of videos, gamers spent a lot of time trying to learn more about the game. The innovation will solve this problem. The company advised developers to post trailers with gameplay before screenshots and only then show cinematics and other videos.

Also from today, developers can choose a category for the trailer. There are four of them: cinematics, teaser, gameplay and interview/developer diary.
